Headphones or speakers first? Can't decide due to some problems.?

I got a job with my neighbor and was saving up for these speakers http://www.amazon.com/Klipsch-ProMedia-Certified-Computer-Speaker/dp/B000062VUO but I won't be able to play them whenever I want but pretty occasionally due to parents getting annoyed. So i'm thinking maybe buy these headphones that i was going to get after speakers first, http://www.amazon.com/Sony-MDR-XB700-Diaphragm-Driver-Headphones/dp/B001RB24SW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1309236943&sr=1-1 Sense I can listen to them all the time. What would you guys do? Get speakers that produce way better audio/bass that you can play sometimes or a nice pair of headphones that you can play all the time?
