Am I wasting my time with university?

I would either find a 9-5 job and attend college part-time or attend college full-time, but choose a different major and work part-time. A Theatre degree probably won't do much good. If you want to become a police officer, you should get a degree though. Accounting, communications, computer science, a foreign language, law, or psychology are some good majors for police officers. Maybe you could major in psychology and minor in theatre or something. Regardless of what major you choose, get the highest grade point average that you can. Getting police officer jobs is becoming more and more competitive. Also, either way, get a driver's license. Do whatever else that you can to make yourself the best candidate that you can.
