Dont you think kung fu films should stop depicting martial arts in the way they do?

Well even Bruce Lee's movies, which are already quite realistic compared to the kung fu films you're thinking of, aren't representative of RL fights (same goes for Tony Jaa and Muay Thai). Ip Chun said that real kung fu looks ugly but is useful and real 'kung fu' fights tend to be over in much less time than they take on film, which would defeat the purpose of making a martial arts film in the first place.
